With the advent of the IoT (internet of things) what we came to know as privacy will truly die. What I mean by this is that as the IoT grid becomes more and more sophisticated via wearable devices, new mobile apps, machine-learning that tracks city video feeds and internet tracking of our search patterns we will all be part of the living database, the Big Data of humankind.
